*Note: This has no content from the already existing anime, Magi. I have never seen that show, so any similarities are pure coincidence*
Hello, everyone who cares about my life! SuperFangirl here, and today, I'm discussing my fan-made series, Magi: Guardians! Right now, I'll go through the magic process and plot:
Plot: Magic. What is it? Is it science, is it an illusion? Or is it real? In a special world, magic is all around civilians. Some use it to fight the monsters in the dark, while others leave it alone in denial. After an accident involving three girls getting magic, they have to learn to control their powers, while finding new powers along the way. Meanwhile, something dark is coming along the way. Are the girls up to the challenge?
Magi is a term based upon the citizens who have and use magic. The ruler of them all is titled "The Mag". Sometimes, there can be a different titled Magi based on his/her power. For example: a Magi who has a power based upon the elements could be called an "Elemental Magi" or an "(insert element here) Magi". There are two "types" of Magi:
This is a term based on the Magi's who have been given their powers, rather than inheriting them. If a person or persons is adopted by a Magi a process is made for the person who was adopted to receive powers based on their parent's powers. The creation of these terms are unknown, though are said to be created by one of the first Mags.
This term is based on the Magi's who have inherited their powers from their family. If the child belongs to a family who belongs or belonged to a fighting station, the child is given the opportunity to accept that position. Wether or not they use their powers for that position is to be decided.
Types of Magic:
Regular Magi's, origin or metal, usually have the usual set if powers. They consist of: power consuming, power deflection, weapon creating, and destruction. While these are the natural set of powers, some of them can only be let out if trained hard enough.
Each of the regular Magi's have the same set of powers. However, all regular Magi's each have a "special power" to add to that. The power could be anything: telekinesis, possession, mind-reading, ect. At times, someone will be given an elemental power to add to their regular, however, they may have a limit to it than a regular elemental power. (Ex. Hydrokinesis, but can only summon liquid)
Everyone knows the elements, right? If not, I will explain. The main elements are fire, water, earth, and air, though sometimes they can be extended to electricity, ice, or something else. The main elemental powers are:
Fire: Can burn most wood and some metals, can make other people burn, can make weapons that can burn/immune to other elements like air or water
Water: Can freeze liquid/make it disappear into vapor, can hold people in a choke hold, causing them to drown, can control bodies of water.
Earth: Can control plants and animals, can make body parts grow, like hair, can make any form of nature (rainstorm, hailstorm, ect)
Air: Can blow down houses and living beings, can create sonic waves, can float
These elements are given "groups" were people who possess alike elements create groups and tactics in case of war. A semi-leader is chosen for each group (there is a "Queen/King" and "Prince/Princess" of each group). If an elemental Magi adopts a person, regular Magi or not, they are given the same powers as their parent.
This is it for now! I'll be adding more stuff soon, and please review my writing. And if I reply harassingly, please knock some sense into me.
